This is a series of papers published by Third World Network on the global economy, particularly on current developments relating to global trends in output, income, finance and investment. It complements the TWN Trade and Development Series focusing on multilateral trade issues. The aim of the papers is to generate discussion on and contribute to appropriate policies towards development oriented to fulfilling human needs, social equity and environmental sustainability.
